Elizabeth Olsen stood out from the crowd in a bright yellow midi dress with black buttons while arriving to the Today show in New York City on Tuesday.

While preparing to tape an episode of NBC's popular morning show, the actress, 34, radiated beauty as she flashed a bright smile at onlookers that crowded outside the GE Building in Rockefeller Center to catch a glimpse of her.

For the occasion, the Ingrid Goes West star sported a bright red lipstick, structured black blazer, matching high heels and her golden blonde tresses in loose waves.

During her interview, alongside costar Love and Death costar Jesse Plemons, the younger sibling of twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen discussed taking on the role of real-life axe murderer Candy Montgomery for HBO Max's true-crime series.

When asked how she got in the mindset of a 'cold' killer, Elizabeth said she used John Bloom book, Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs as her 'main resource.'

'It's the only interviews that the woman, Candy Montgomery, actually participated in after her trial,' she continued. 'So it is really the only source that I have that gives me an understanding of who she is and how she was raised.'

The performer, best known for her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, then hilariously quipped: 'I don't know, playing characters that make questionable decisions is something I actually enjoy!'

Plemons, who is married to actress Kirsten Dunst, reflected on the 'added pressure' of playing a real person, which he believes must be an 'unusual feeling.'
